I'm In Love With The Farmer's Daughter (It's Not What You Think...)
A couple weeks ago, right before my trip to LA, I was perusing my new favorite travel app, Porter & Sail. It's the coolest app I've used in a while and make me feel super VIP...it's your very own insider concierge. First it lets you book a room in some of the coolest hotels in London, LA, New York, Miami, and Singapore. Then, once you're actually a guest, it gives you access to some of the best restaurant reservations and events in town. (They actually helped me get a rezzy at Gjelina... which is usually almost IMPOSSIBLE to get in to.) So. My. Speed. While perusing, I came across this gem of a hotel, The Farmer's Daughter. Perpetually a huge fan of one-offs and unique spaces, this hotel ignited all of my traveler's senses. The decor was kitschy yet upscale, the service was impeccable, and the location...well...it could not have been more perfect for all my endeavors I came to town for. And let's not forget food...not only was the food outstanding, but the entire dining experience just transported me to a warm cozy happy place. Of course, coming from freezing cold Chicago and being able to sit on the lush patio at Tart in the sun and enjoy some tasty grub made it a million times more exciting. The on-site restaurant, Tart, just oozed cool. And their sister off-site restaurant, Little Tart, was some of the best and most unique fast casual I've EVER had. Overall, The Farmer's Daughter is a MUST for your next LA trip. See all pics and video below for more details!
