Hubbard Inn

Hubbard Inn has been one of my go-to spots for years now. It has this warm and cozy feeling that you get from candlelight, red leather booths, and a dark Victorian-era library vibe. It's truly a gorgeous multi-leveled space. Thankfully, the food and craft cocktails match the decor. It's a delicious and comforting elevated gastro-pub menu with a killer seafood selection.

And if you want the best bang for your buck in River North during happy hour, you have got to check this out! They have a daily weekday raw bar happy hour (or 3 hours) from 4-7pm that includes $1 oysters, $1 clams, $2 scallop crudo, $2 king crab legs, and $3 oyster shooters. Insane!!

Not only can you hit up their happy hour, but you can stay for an outstanding dinner, and then head upstairs to their lounge/nightclub and experience some of Chicago's best nightlife. Man, I have spent plenty a night up on floors 2 and 3, whew! Never a dull moment.

Switching gears big-time, if you are looking for Mother's Day plans, Hubbard Inn is a sure way to make Mom feel extra special. They're having a multi-course brunch menu, seafood platters, brunch carving station, and incredible dessert selection. My mom LOVES it there, so I'm sure your will too!

I could eat tacos all day every day. So when I find a great new taco spot I get incredibly excited. So you can imagine how hard it is knowing that there's this incredible new taco/authentic Mexican cuisine restaurant in Logan Square, that's getting rave reviews, and I haven't been yet!! I know I don't talk about places I haven't yet tried, but I couldn't resist. Quiote looks INCREDIBLE. And as soon as I'm back in town, eating everything on the menu will be my first order of business.
