Winestyr

Any wine lovers out there?!  Silly question, right?!  Well for the 99% of you out there who love wine and also want to learn more about wine, I have the perfect idea! Winestyr is this super cool company that acts as your personal wine concierge.  They work with over 100 small production wineries, like labels you would see if you were driving though Napa Valley and Sonoma, or other parts of California... but not labels you see on shelves in Chicago.  So what you do, is you make an appointment to check out their incredibly swanky loft lounge in the West Loop.  You bring some friends, and they give you a personalized wine consultation while you do a tasting of their current offerings.  Then the best part...wait for it... you get to order some of the awesome wine and have it shipped right to your door!  To be honest, I was pretty surprised that their selection of wines was as affordable as it is... the average is just around $30/bottle.

Beatnik

Beatnik is the new hot spot in West Town from the people who brought you Black Bull, Celeste, and Fulton Market Kitchen.  Like their other spots, Beatnik puts a ton of weight on art, culture, and vibe.  And this new venue has it all, an eclectic Boho vibe with an opulent sensory overload reminiscent of the 50's Beatnik era.  Their menu looks awesome too, super diverse with a Mediterranean flair.  Grilled oysters, fried quail, whole fish, roasted capon.  Oh and they have slushies.  The one I'm most stoked about is the Eaaaaasy Tiger, made with Absinthe, coconut, lime, and honey.  Damnnnnn.

Emporium Arcade Bar

I've had some of the best times of my life at Emporium.  It's always a good time.  Beer, video games, amazing 80's and 90's music, and music videos on the big screen.  A. BLAST.  And now a new one is coming to Fulton Market!  Woop!  Keep an eye out for it... this neighborhood needs this type of Wicker Park staple dive bar.  Can't wait for it!
